Details on Aug 14th tri-school band camp
The First Annual Tri-School Band Camp Day will take place at Saratoga High School on Friday, August 14th. This is a mandatory camp. Students must notify Mr. Burn if there are any issues with attendance.
Please remember, students must provide their own transportation to Saratoga High School (20300 Herriman Ave, Saratoga, CA 95070-4999). All marching students, including Pit and Color guard, are required to attend. The cost is included in the Danville band camp fee. (Those students who will not make it to our Danville band camp will receive an email from me with the cost for the August 14th band camp day.)
Pit students and any tuba players who need help transporting their instruments should meet in the band room at 8 am to help load the trailers. Mr. Edmonds and Mr. Barbano will leave HHS at 8:30 am. They will not wait for late comers.
Student leaders need to be at Saratoga by 8:15 am.
All other students need to be at Saratoga by 10:15 am.
Bring your instruments and the music ‘Autumn’.
Lunch and dinner will be provided.
You might want to bring water and a light shirt/sweater since you’ll be at Saratoga until 9 pm.
Parents, Scott Lang will hold a special session for Parents only, from 7-9 pm. Join him in the McAffee Performing Arts Center.
Schedule CORRECTIONS
Beat the Heat practice on Monday will be 5-8 pm.
Saturday practice… percussion 9-5 pm. All other band students from 10-5 pm. BRING WATER, SUNSCREEN, HAT, INSTRUMENT.
Are you missing Something?
Like, your fan or cooler? Check out the collection in the band room to find your orphan. Items will be moved to the grassy area under the tree on Saturday to make it easier for you to see.
Tuesday Stand Still Concert
Our first public performance! The marching band will perform at the Homestead BBQ on Tuesday, August 18th, at 3:30 pm. Students need to meet in the band quad at 3 pm to warm up!
