A little help, please?

We try to provide ice cold water for all students after the lunch break, when their water bottles get pretty low.  Instead of them wasting their time standing in line trying to fill them up at the water fountain, we fill up 6 igloo water coolers and set them out next to the field for students to use.
 
It would really be helpful if someone could buy 3 20-pound bags of ice and deliver it to the band room at 12 pm Saturday, so that we can prepare the igloos. 
 
It would also be nice to have a couple of people to haul the igloos to our water source, fill up the 6 igloos, and haul them back to the field.  The whole process might take about a half hour.

Time:     5:00 New Parent Meeting in the Choir Room
              5:45 Marching Demonstration on Soccer Field -Note time change!
              6:00  Potluck dinner in the Quad
 
What to Bring: Please bring your potluck contributions to the quad between 5pm and 5:45pm
 
- Seniors, Juniors, and Board Members: Please bring an entree to serve 12 hungry marchers
- Sophomore: Salad to serve 12 voracious guard members
- Freshman : Dessert to serve 12 famished field staff
 
Drinks, paper products, and utensils will be provided. Bring your own serving utensils if needed. Parents, please remember to label your serving dishes and utensils so that we can return anything that is left behind.  You would not believe all the unsolicited donations boosters has collected over the years, and that’s after reminding people to pick up their stuff!
 
Bring your calendars to record the dates you sign up for volunteer offerings.  If you don’t happen to have a calendar, not to worry.  We still have a few of our fantastic Music Department Spiral Bound calendar.  Purchase price is $15.
 
Please plan to attend!   This is a great opportunity for you to meet the students and families of fellow band members.  It is amazing how much time you will be spending with these folks!  This is a great opportunity for you to work at one of the many marching events during the upcoming season.  You will be able to pick up your copy of the 2009 Music Booster Manual! SCRIP and Entertainment Books will be sold! Fieldshow T-shirts and sweatshirts will be available for pick-up.

What to bring to the potluck on Saturday…
 
In addition to the potluck food, we would appreciate a case of water from each family, which will be used throughout the competition season to keep our students hydrated.  Just plop them into the golf cart trailer parked near the quad.
