One FINAL sentence about CMEA this Friday/Saturday….
Students are required to attend and perform at all concerts as part of their grade. It is very important that performers be prompt for rehearsals and performances. Please notify Mr. Burn, Mr. Marra, or Dr. Morton IMMEDIATELY if you are going to be late or have other issues.
Please remember that you are responsible for transporting your own instruments to Saratoga; There is no truck or trailer for this trip.
Wanted: Precinct Walkers this Saturday, Phone Bank Volunteers Tuesday
Thank you to all of the fantastic volunteers who helped with phone calls last Wednesday! Your help was truly appreciated.
We have more opportunities for parents and students to help pass Measure B. Saturday, March 27th, Homestead volunteers are needed to walk precincts. Volunteers should meet at the office building at 1309 S. Mary Ave, near the corner of Mary and Cascade, at 9 a.m. The precinct walk will end around 1 pm.
There will be another phone bank night on Tuesday, March 30th, in the same office as last week; at 1309 S. Mary Ave.

Winter Groups Home Show!! April 2nd
Come watch our very own Winter Guard and Winter Percussion as they perform their award winning 2010 shows in the Homestead Large Gym!
Friday, April 2nd, starting at 6:30 pm
Admission is FREE – donations always welcome!
Also featuring guard and percussion groups from Fremont and Vanguards, among others.
Be sure to catch Homestead’s final competitions the next day, Saturday, April 3rd, at CCGC Championships at Independence High School in San Jose:

Drum Major Workshops - Reminder
Drum Major Workshops given by our fantastic drum majors, Chris Chung, Marcus Regidor, and Madeena Siddiqui, started Wednesday, March 10th at 3:30pm in the band room, and will continue until audition time. Any student interested in being a drum major candidate is highly encouraged to attend these sessions. Learn the drum major skills from the experts!
