Volunteers Still Needed! Music Boosters Open Positions for 2010-11
It’s not too late to volunteer for a key music booster position for next year! We have a special need for someone to be ourSaturday Practice Water Coordinator. You would be responsible for preparing the igloos with water ice and have them ready for our thirsty band guard members by lunchtime during Saturday practices. This job can certainly be done by more than one person, if you want to split the dates and cannot commit to every Saturday practice. If you are a new incoming band parent, you are more than welcomed to volunteer for any job listed below. We have a great group of volunteers who know the ropes and will answer any questions you may have to make your transition smoother. Please contact me, (Rene Watkins, randersonwatkins@mac.com), if you are interested in taking on any of the following. I’d be happy to answer any questions you may have, or I can direct you to the person who can fill you in on the details.
Fundraising Coordinator
Ice Deliverer (purchase and deliver 2-3 hundred pounds of ice for each home football game—we will reimburse you for the cost)
Water Coordinator (for Saturday practices)
Water Coordinator (for parades)
