Three Flames Restaurant presents a Fundraiser to Benefit the HHS Marching Band!!
Sunday, January 30th, 2-5 pm
Three Flames Restaurant, 1547 Meridian Ave, San Jose, CA
$20 per person (tax-deductible) – proceeds go to HHS Music Boosters!
There will be live music with performances by the Millennium Sounds Orchestra, a 20-piece Swing Big Band. Your ticket gives you access to complimentary hors d’oeuvres, great music, and great company. Invite friends and family for a little swing music.

I have included students and parents who will join us at Homestead in the fall. You will be sent marching band-related email blasts from now on, since important information will be distributed.
I have also attached information and forms if you have not turned in Macy’s paperwork yet.

BAND CAMP DATES!!
Mark your calendars! Band Camp will take place Friday August 5th thru Sunday, August 7th, with pre-camp activities taking place at the beginning of August. Be there!
DESSERT & VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR EXCHANGE CONCERTS
Homestead is hosting two upcoming exchange concerts: Our Symphonic Band and Concert Band on Wed, Feb 9 along with Fremont’s and Lynbrook’s Symphonic and Concert Bands. We will serve them dessert after the concert. We’ll need 700 servings of dessert plus a few people to set up at 8:30pm, serve at 9:30pm and clean up at 10pm. Desserts may be dropped off at the school quad (by the cafeteria) before the concerts.
On Thurs, Feb 10, our Orchestra will host the Los Gatos HS Orchestra (and Mr Marra). We will do a pizza dinner. For this event, we need people to help set up, serve pizza and clean up (5:30pm – 7:15pm). This will all occur before the concert starts.

Winter Percussion will receive 30% of sales at Pizza My Heart-Cupertino when the customer identifies himself as a HHS Winter Percussion supporter on the dates and times listed below. Fliers are not necessary to receive credit on the sale.

HHS AUCTION IS COMING!
THE HOMESTEAD AUCTION WILL BE HELD ON Feb. 12, 6pm to Midnight at Mariani's
Restaurant in Santa Clara! Need to unwind after a hectic holiday season? Ready to have some fun and enjoy great food with great people while supporting the Music Department? Come to the HHS Auction! The auction is a SCHOOL WIDE event (organized by the Athletic Boosters). Tickets to the event are $75 each - $25 going to the
organization (HHSMB) of your choice. Bid on a basket during the Silent Auction, or on an item during the Live Auction. If you get the item, 45% of the winning bid goes to the Music Department. If the item was donated by the Music Department, then HHSMB gets 90% of the sale price! you're not that excited about attending? Those tickets would be the perfect donation item to the Auction!! How about provide a service – teeth whitening, legal service, tutoring?
