DISTRIBUTION OF MACY'S PATCHES AND NY ORNAMENTS
We have received a Macy's participant patch for each student attending the parade. Additionally, Mrs. Matsuura arranged for a donation of Kurt Adler NY ornaments and snow globes (you may select one). A few students did not take their participant pin from their uniform in NY. We have those pins for you as well.
You may pick up these items from Mrs. Edmonds outside the band room after school on Wed and Thurs from 12:15 - 12:30 (after your last final of the day).
If you have any questions, please contact Barbara Edmonds, email@example.com.
LOST AND FOUND
The following items were left behind in the Sheraton ballroom in NY:
1. Nickelodeon "the Naked Brothers Band" bandana
2. Multi-colored grey knitted hat
3. Dark grey Pierre Cardin scarf
4. Black "Apt 9" size "S" V-neck sweater
If any of these items are yours, please contact DeeDee Wong at 408-245-4239.

SECOND ANNUAL HOLIDAY CAROLING FUNDRAISER
It's that time of year again! We will be going around the neighborhood playing holiday music in exchange for donations. This year's Halloween Caroling event was a huge success, raising over $1200, while having lots of fun (last year, we even rescued somebody's dog!).
There will be two dates and locations:
Tuesday, December 20 at Aileen Luo's house (HHS area), 4-8 pm
Thursday, December 22 at Jenna Mennen's house (Nimitz Elementary area), 4-8 pm
Please email May Zeng at firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, instrument, and time(s) coming, or sign up at https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?formkey=dGZ1U3NRZEtGczRPVHJRVHFvQ1VGR0E6MQ if you are interested in participating in this event.

VOLUNTEER FOR SANTA CLARA VANGUARD BINGO TO EARN MONEY TOWARD BAND FEES
Santa Clara Vanguard has opened their bingo volunteering calendar for November, December and January. This is a great way to "bank" money in your scrip account to pay for band expenses.
For each shift you volunteer, you will earn $40 toward your student’s scrip account. Money in your scrip account can be used toward paying any allowable Homestead Music program costs (Marching Band, Winter Percussion, Winter Guard, Choir, etc). Volunteers must be 18 yrs or older. They do not need to be a parent or relative of the student. They can be a friend working on behalf of the student.
If you are new to the program, please refer to the “Fundraising” section of the HHSMB website for details and for sign-up instructions (be sure to read all the information before signing-up):
To register for Bingo times, please click the link below.
To ensure your scrip account is properly credited, please email Diane Cressler (firstname.lastname@example.org ) and let her know the dates you actually work and the name of the student scrip account to credit.
If you have any questions, contact Diane Cressler, email@example.com.
