Turf Fields

The District has prepared these guidelines for users of artificial turf fields including Athletic Directors, coaches, Physical Education teachers, Band Directors, parents, students and all other persons directing or participating in activities on the artificial turf fields.

" This is a message from Homestead High School about the Senior Ball on Friday, May 17th at Club Auto Sport in San Jose.  Please make sure you or your ride has printed directions to the event location.  All Homestead students must have their current school ID card to enter the dance, and non – Homestead guests must have a current photo ID.  The dance begins at 8:00 PM and doors close at 9:00 PM.  The dance ends at midnight and students must be picked up no later than 12:15 am.  We cannot guarantee supervision past 12:15.  Remember that on the day of the dance, students with an unverified absence in one or more classes are not permitted to attend the dance.  Please see the student handbook for the complete dance policy.

Club Auto Sport is located 521 Charcot Ave San Jose, CA 95131. Directions from Homestead are attached below:

During the month of March, the HHS Winter Guard Team competed in several events, placing 2nd at the CCGC competition at Independence High School, first place in a Central Valley competition, and second place in another CCGC event in Livermore. Way to go, Mustangs!

PARKING LOT SAFETY!  An increasing number of vehicles are not following the directional arrows in the parking lot when dropping off students.  PLEASE DO NOT CUT ACROSS THE PARKING LOT!  It is dangerous for pedestrians, bikers and other vehicles.

books.jpg Are you looking for after school homework help or are you interested in being a tutor and helping your peers succeed in various subjects? Then the Academic Center is the perfect place for you! Please fill out the appropriate attached application form (tutor or tutee) and return it to your Dean of Students, Mr. Moore or Ms. Nurnberg. Tutoring is available for all subjects Monday - Thursday from 2:30-4pm in the Library. Tutoring is also available Monday - Thursday from 3:15-4pm in B109 for Math and S8 for Biology.
