A Welcome Message from
PTSA President Kristine Lawrence.

Homestead PTSA sponsors several parent and student education events throughout the school year.  In 2013, the PTSA is sponsoring the following events:

  • January 23 Miss Representation Documentary Film @ HHS Auditorium  7:00 - 8:30 pm
  • March 6 Navigating the College Application Process  6:45 - 8:30 pm @ HHS Library
  • May 7 On the Edge of Coaching: Trust your Teenager  6: 45 - 8:30 pm @ HHS Library
The PTSA also supports school functions with volunteers, including the school's major fundraiser 
Homestead High School 50th Anniversary Auction and Gala on March 1, 2013 @ DelMonte Building, Sunnyvale.

Homestead High School has a very active Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) that functions to provide:

  • A communication link between parents and the school

  • Service to support school activities and educational speakers

  • Opportunities for parents to be involved in the school

  • Services for students

Why should you join PTSA?

  • Increase your awareness of day-to-day activities at HHS

  • Establish friendships with HHS administrators, teachers, parents and students

  • Have a voice in your Homestead community

  • Receive a HHS Student Directory

  • Gain greater access to information concerning legislative issues affecting our children's education

We hope that you will join us at our monthly meetings this year. Meetings are open to all Homestead parents, students and teachers.  If you prefer to join PTSA via payment by check, please return your summer mailer PTSA membership form to the office or use PTSA Forms and submit to the office anytime during the school year.  We don't do any major fundraising during the year - member's dues fund most of our activities, so please join us!
