On Monday March 5, Dr. Glenn Teeter along with Dr. Kelly Troiano will present an evening for parents designed to continue to bring awareness and education to the community on teen mental wellness. Topics that will be explored are the signs and symptoms of mental health conditions, suicide prevention education, opportunities to communicate in a healthy way with our teens, insights on how your primary care doctor can support your family, and most importantly, knowing when and how to reach out for help. There will be an opportunity for Q&A.
This presentation will be held at Cupertino High School. A similar presentation for parents along with student assemblies focusing on suicide prevention education will be provided at Homestead High School, Lynbrook High School and Monta Vista High School during the 2018-19 school year.
