November Announcements

Parent Education Opportunity:  7:00 p.m. November 8 @ Lynbrook High School, Room 72.  “College for Parents” sponsored by Lynbrook High School PTSA.  The speaker is Mr. Don Mackenzie, addresses the following subjects: How do you help your child choose the “best” college?  How do you prepare him (and yourself) to live apart?  How can you continue to support him, financially and emotionally, from a distance?

This program provides invaluable insights for parents of all high school students: parents of seniors who are facing immediate changes, and parents of younger students who should start planning for the future.

Civil Rights Speaker:  Elizabeth Eckert from the 1955 "Little Rock 9" is tentatively scheduled to speak in the Homestead Auditorium, Monday, Nov. 19  5:30-7pm, watch our website for more information

These high quality pennants are $15 and are manufactured by the same company that makes pennants for colleges. For more information and orders, please contact Rani Bandermann.

PTSA Announcements is a great way to spread the word!  If you have information you would like included in future issues, please send the 411 to Donna Verna.
